2012 is NOT starting off well...

Maybe it can only improve from here. My FIL died last month. So far this month, my husband's grandmother (his father's mother) died, and yesterday, my aunt died. For all of them, I would considered it a blessing, but still...

I hope I've completed my death trifecta and we're done for the year (or longer!).

In other news, my husband has returned to work (out of state, of course) and I am quite displeased with his family.

I'm taking the week off of work. Maybe that will help.

    Good luck.

  2. That is a terrible run of bad luck! I am sorry for all your losses, regardless if they were 'for the best' or not. It is a lot to be dealing with in such a short time. I hope you get the space you need to recuperate before the next major life event comes on the horizon. x

  3. I also very much hope you are done for the year at the very least, longer if at all possible. I am sorry. Even 'blessing' deaths of the very old and very ill are exhausting and sad and then, of ocurse, they mess with the family dynamic and if things are stressful ANYWAY... Oy vey.

Taking week off work excellent idea, under circumstances.

  4. I am so sorry. One of those things in isolation would be rough. All together is terrible.

  5. I never quite know what to say in such cases, apart from the obvious clichés. I do am sorry for your losses, no matter how much 'for the better' they were.
Hope the week off is exactly what you expect it to be.

  9. Hang in there, with the losses, with having your husband away, and with his family!

  10. Displeased? You're kind, I would have used different words. ; )

I'm sorry for the last couple of months. Even when it's a "blessing" it still sucks.
